1998 Martin HD-28VR

Rare and coveted 1998 Martin HD-28VR, a cornerstone of the “Vintage Series” and the direct predecessor to the legendary HD-28V. The “R” designation (signifying Rosewood) was utilized only during the first year of production (1998) before Martin simplified the naming convention. This instrument represents an early, meticulous effort by the Martin Custom Shop to blend the legendary sound of pre-WWII Herringbone D-28s with modern playability and reliability.
